How do I see my results on Quest? ›

Lab test results (performed by a Quest Diagnostics laboratory) will be delivered to MyQuest as soon as they are available. You can check the current status of your test results in MyQuest on the Results page.

You will receive an email notification when your lab test results are ready. You can log in and view the results on your Quest Results page.

Getting your results

Most test results are available within 2-5 days of collection. Yet some complex testing may take 14 days or more. Quest sends completed test results directly to the ordering doctor for review. Results will also be available in your MyQuest account as tests are completed.

Sometimes incomplete or out-of-date demographic information gets sent with a lab test order. When this occurs, Quest Diagnostics can't always match a lab test result to your Quest Account, and in such cases, we can't send a lab test result to MyQuest.

You can print a lab test result while viewing your list of lab test results on the Results page or while viewing the lab test results report. To print from the Results page: 1 Click next to the lab test result you want to print, and then select Print PDF.

If I fail a pre-employment drug test at Quest Diagnostics, will I get notified by them? You'll get a call from a Medical Review Officer (MRO).

Urine drug screen results usually come back within a few days or on the same day. If a result is positive, a person may need to take a second test for confirmation. This may be a GC-MS test, which gives more accurate results. The person who carried out the test or a medical review officer will explain the results.

What is the flag H on a blood test? ›

If your blood counts fall outside of the normal range, which is shown in the “Reference interval” column, their values will be reported in the “Flag” column with an 'L' for low and an 'H' for high.

Results that lie outside the laboratory reference ranges are considered to be abnormal; however, various factors influence the tests.

If results are concerning, they may call you or have a receptionist call to schedule an appointment. 15 A healthcare provider may also call to assure you everything is okay or discuss any needed follow-up tests.

Your results may be delayed if the sample is inadequate (not enough blood), contaminated, or if the blood cells were destroyed for some reason before reaching the lab.

The following blood tests will take longer: Diabetes blood test (Hba1c) – 1 week. Rheumatoid Arthritis blood test – 1 week. Coeliac blood test (endomyssial antibody) – 2 weeks.
